Along the west coast of America exists the Temperate Rainforest, also known as the Northwestern Coniferous Forest. It contains Redwoods along the Northern California Coast, trunks of trees and the forest's floor are generally covered with moss. Because of the humid coastal air this area gets plenty of rainfall.
